Lessons on Sound Structure: Part 1

This assignment consists of lessons on sound structure and English spelling wrapped around quiz questions. You can submit it and get feedback on answers as many times as you want to. The maximum number of points will be achieved by entering right answers by the due date. What's recorded as your score for the assignment is the points from your latest submission, with points subtracted for lateness, where appropriate, and added (within a week or so) for any short-answer questions. You may want to add your text for the short-answer questions only on what you expect to be your final submission, if you submit more than once. 

The textbook reading associated with this assignment is the chapter on Phonetics, starting on page 7, and the chapter on Orthography, starting on page 18 in the PDF Linguistics Introduction.
